I watch a lot of soap operas so I had a look at the main soaps that air here in Britain two of them are Australian. I put them in order of age Coronation Street (1960), Emmerdale (1972), EastEnders (19th February 1985), Neighbours (18th March 1985) (UK debut October 1986), Home and Away (1988) and Hollyoaks (1995).
