Dream

Last night I had a dream where I had dinner with the band STEPS in the dream a woman came up to our table and asked Lisa what it was like working with Matt Smith! I laughed Lisa looked at me confused and I said that the woman had mistaken her for Karen Gillan from Doctor Who. When I laughed my laugh sound a bit like Alesha Dixon's laugh from Strictly Come Dancing. My dream was crazy! :)  

Over Easter

It's the Easter holidays starting next week so I'm planning on working out with Bob Harper on The Biggest Loser challenge Wii game and I hope to lose a few pounds before college resumes after Easter. During the holidays I have to some research on websites one that I think the animations are good, one that I think is rubbish and one that I like very much. I am also planning on going to see the Hunger Games with my school friends who I am very close with. So the next fortnight is bound to be jam packed. :) I hope everyone else has a great Easter! :)

My Etch Print

  Hey this is my Etch print I made this last week during print making. The girl the picture is Annabeth Chase from Percy Jackson. I chose Annabeth because I find that she is just as inspiring as Hermione Granger from Harry Potter as both are smart girls and are not the "damsel in distress"type they are heroines.

Print-Making

  Every tuesday at 10:30am till 12:00pm I have a print-making session in the print-making along with the rest of my group. So far we have done: Collographs, Lino and Etching. As we are doing a self-promotion project at the moment we can get a picture that relates to us and make a print of that image (of course we would have copy it before we printed it).

TITANIC 2

 When the Titanic hit the iceberg not only did the iceberg damage the side of the ill fated cruiseliner but it also damaged underneath the ship. I found this out in a documentary about the Titanic on Five a couple of years ago thank the gods that I watch documentaries as I wouldn't have loads of facts and trivia without them or my thirst for knowledge. 

TITANIC

    So April 15th 1912 is the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the iconic ill fated cruise liner the RMS TITANIC. The Titanic began her maiden voyage on April 10th 1912 it's port of registry was Liverpool, it set sail from Southampton it's destination New York City, it was owned by White Star Line and it's sister ships were the Olympic and the Britannic. The Olympic never made it out to sea whereas the Britannic (which set sail 2 years later in 1915) did make it out to sea. Unfortunately world war one was taking place when the Britannic set sail the world was at war so the Britannic was used as a hospital ship it was unfortunate because the Britannic sank when it hit a mine on 23rd of November 1916. The Titanic sank because it hit an iceberg. Before it sank the Titanic split into two the bow of the ship sank first landing on the sea bed almost intact minutes later the stern of the ship sank landing about a third of a mile away from the bow.

Dancing On Ice!

Oh my god! The Dancing On Ice final was AMAZING! I thought both couples could have won but my favourite couple won. When I saw the winner's bolero I knew that they were going to win! There was a moment of doubt when Philip Schofield was announcing the winning couple. I was like "Please just put us out of our misery".

The Apprentice

I watched the Apprentice last night which was AMAZING. It was the first episode of the new series and for the first task the candidates had to start a print-making business. The person who was fired probably wasn't the person who Lord Sugar initially was going to fire but they basically talked themselves into being fired.   

The book I am reading

I am currently reading a book called hush, hush by American author Becca Fitzpatrick. I got the book along with it's sequel crescendo for my 19th birthday last year. When I read the blurb of the second book (I couldn't see the blurb of first book) I stated that the series sounded a bit like Stephenie Meyer's Twilight. I am completely enjoying the book and I can't wait to finish it and start on the second book.

      I have just found out that some of my classmates and I share the same birthplace. :)

   This my logo I know that it is not very good but I do intend to practise making it better. 

Glee

   I watched two recordings yesterday one was Glee's Michael Jackson episode which I found was AWESOME! I was literally trying to stop myself from getting up to dance I now have a new found respect for the King of pop. I now can't wait until the next episode which I will be watching tonight! :) I love Glee I hope it has more seasons than just three. 

Daybreak

    My favourite thing to of a morning is watch the breakfast show Daybreak I love everything about it I particularly like the presenters Dan Lobb and Kate Garraway. I hope that they stay on as the main presenters for as long as they can.

Blogs

   Ok so for my current project at college I have to create a blog (an online diary) before this project I hadn't created a blog before (though I had tried to keep a diary). I am glad that I have created a blog as it is something that I can update for me and for college. I hope my blog is satisfactory.

YMCA Poster

     This is the poster that I did for the YMCA Southport's youth Club. The YMCA wanted a cool poster that would attract youths from the age of 11 to the age of 19. I hope I fulfilled their requirements for a poster.

Harry Potter

   Ever since I went to see the first Harry Potter movie in 2001 I have been a fan and as soon as I read the Harry Potter books I have been an obsessed fan. Harry Potter has been apart of my life for over ten years I think thing I like about it the most is that it is about family and friendship. I bonded over the series with my group of friends from school we call ourselves the Range Crew. I have been going to see the films with a group of friends since I was 13 years old. For the last two films I went to see with seven other friends: Emily Wylie, Oliver Henshall, Sophie Speariett, Tom Howlet, Will Rushton, Jonathan Hogben and Becca Brown. 

My life story

     I was born in August 1992 to Janet Mullin and Stanley Joseph Mullin I was the first of two children my younger brother Joseph Stanley Mullin born in August 2000. I was named Sarah Margaret Mullin after my mum's grandmas Harriet Margaret Jones and Sarah Jane Walsh. I was 8 weeks premature weighing 2lbs 9oz the weight of a bag of sugar. 
     When I was 8 years old and my brother was only a few months old we were due to go to my Nana's (my Dad's Mum) for Christmas but that Christmas eve my Mum found out that my Dad was cheating on her. We then changed our plans and went to my Gran's (my Mum's Mum) instead as my Mum and Dad had split and divorced a short while later. 
    Over 11 years my Mum, Joseph and I are very happy Joseph and I see our Dad a few times during the year. I have developed an interests in: Glee, Harry Potter, Shake It Up, Friends, Charmed, The Secret Circle, h2o: just add water, Strictly Come Dancing, Neighbours, Twilight, Disney, books and musicals.  

Weight loss

   From now until August I am going to concentrate on losing weight and keeping fit. I am going to do this by going on the Biggest Loser Challenge Wii game every day and watching how much food I eat during the day. My problem with food is snacking on unhealthy things like chocolate, crisps and sweets. To myself snacking on the wrong things I need to start snacking the right things like fruit or if I what to keep my mouth busy chew sugar free chewing gum. From August if I reach my goal weight I will maintain that weight till I die.  

Fantasy book

  I am currently writing a story about Vampires, Werewolves and Witches. I hope that it is a good story as I will type it up and ask someone who I can trust to read it. That's all I have on it now.

The Secret Circle

    Perhaps the most darkest television series about Witches is The Secret Circle as it keeps the viewer (me) at their (my) seat. The only television series that I can compare it with is Charmed which is also about Witches and can also be abit dark. I think my favourite out of the two of them is Charmed as I have known about it longer but that's not to say that Cassie, Diana, Faye, Melissa, Adam, Nick and Jake aren't just as likeable as Prue, Piper, Phoebe, Paige and Leo.

Barcelona the first full day! :)

  The first full day in Barcelona started off with breakfast which eventful. We had breakfast in this little cafe called Cappuccino just opposite the Opera house in Barcelona where we were meeting our tour guide for the gothic walking tour. We thought we had to go up to the bar to order our food but the lady at the bar told us to "Sit! down!" in an a very annoyed manner. Aside from that the food was lovely as well as the drinks I had a focaccia and a strawberry milkshake both were truly SCRUMPTIOUS! 

Barcelona 2

   So after we had seen the Sagrada Familia we all decided to go back to the hotel and get changed for the evening. The room that Olivia, Lucy and I were in was slightly more grander than the other two rooms our party were in. This was because we had two showers: a walk in shower and a step in shower! :) As it was a self catering holiday we went out for all of our meals so for lunch we went around the corner from the hotel and found a local cafe that served Tapas and Sangria! For dinner we went around the corner again to an italian restaurant where I had spaghetti bolognese and a glass of water which was DELICIOUS! :)

Barcelona

   Over the weekend just gone myself and eight other people went to Barcelona for my Mum's 50th birthday. We had a fabulous time we staid in the Hoteles Catalonia Catedral which is a very posh hotel. The hotel was right in the centre of the Gothic quarter of Barcelona. My favourite bit of the holiday was seeing the Sagrada Familia for the first time. We arrived at the Sagrada Familia via taxi as we looked at where it was on the map and where we were and as it looked as though it was a bit of a trek to get there (which it was) so we decided to get a couple of taxis. The taxis in Barcelona all sport the colours black and yellow looking like a wasp. When we arrived at the Sagrada Familia half of us were dropped off at Gaudi's entrance and the other half were dropped at Subrach's entrance both sides look almost identical except Gaudi's entrance is more intricate and pretty Subrach's entrance is more futuristic and robotic (not that Subrach's entrance isn't pretty). We all had quite a few laughs while in Barcelona while one of the lifts in the hotel had two doors and two of our party fell out of it which was pretty funny.  

The Biggest Loser

   Last night I watched the Biggest Loser USA on SkyLiving I found it very good. My favourite part of the episode was when the Blue team won the weigh in as they've got the stronger team. My favourite trainer on the Biggest Loser is Bob Harper as I have a little bit of a crush on Bob whoever marries Bob will be very lucky.

College

   In english today I have got to present my power point presentation on the subject of my choice. The subject that I chose was The Biggest Loser I chose the BL as it covers the subject of obesity and how important it is to stay healthy. I guess I like The Biggest Loser because it changes alot of peoples lives and inspires them to be fit and healthy I also like the BL because it features the two best personal trainers in the world Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels.

College

 In College today I researched some artist blogs as I am currently doing a project were I have to create a blog. Some of the artwork that I found on each of the blogs was A-MA-ZING in particular one painting of a bunch of flowers in a vase.

My opinion on Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief movie

When I went to see Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief at the cinema in february 2010 I didn't really know who or what Percy Jackson was. After seeing the film (which I really enjoyed) I immediately jumped on the computer at home at researched Percy Jackson on the internet where I found out that it was a very popular series of books. As soon as I could I went into my local bookshop and bought the first book The Lightning Thief which although different to the film I enjoyed just as much as the film I knew that Percy, Grover and Annabeth were going to become one of my favourite trios.
