Couch to 5K Poster

I was asked to have a look at a poster for a local Couch To 5K event and see how I could make it better. I decided to keep the green but make it brighter. I also made the text more bold so it would stand out.

Honours project

For my honours project I am doing a Literacy campaign.

What I did here was I made the typeface using the line tool in Adobe Illustrator. The words that I wanted to stand out I made three dimensional using the line tool again. 

leaflets

Here are two examples of leaflets that I have picked up. One is for the Walker Art Gallery which I thought was simple but informative. The dickinson's real deal leaflet I picked up because I thought it was simple and colourful.

Blog

Here is a screenshot of the blog for my final show. I have used the colour blue because the colour of our lanyards are blue.

Blog research

I was asked to look at Blogs to promote the final Graphic Arts show. Above are some examples of blogs.
I decided that Blogger was the best one it is free plus you can write an essay on it if you wanted.
I did debate between Blogger and Tumblr. I don't think that there is any comparison as both are good for promotion.

Personal Project

For my Personal Project I am going to redesign three book covers for the Penguin Award which starts in October. For research I will be looking at previous winners and runners-up and I will be reading the books that I am redesigning. I will be using Photoshop and Illustrator to design my outcomes.
