Another Idea for Rock The Boat

Above is another idea I had for Rock The Boat. I decided to use a captain's hat as the shape.

Rock The Boat ideas

 My first idea for Rock the Boat's logo was to use the shape of a guitar Pick and a font that gave the impression of water.

I decided to use a piece of the place where the brewery will be based. I chose the bootle docks.  

The Outsiders

This is my design for the Outsiders.  

Penguin Children's prize

Above is a prototype for my Penguin Children's prize entry. I am going to ask my cousin whether he could model for the cover. I chose the colours black and grey because The Outsiders is about gangs and  black and grey are very serious colours.

This is a poster for where to find me online. I have included a logo idea of mine.

Final piece

Above is my final piece for this Project I corrected the earlier spelling mistake that I had made. I decided to design an image where there were these monsters crawling out of a set of doors that eventually became barn doors. I have stuck with the font that I chose for the other poster as I really liked it.

Farmeggedon

Above is a poster for Farmeggedon with social media icons. I tried turning each of the icons a similar colour to the font that I have used for Farmeggedon. I included some websites that Farmeggedon are not on. I chose this font because it looks as though it has been written in blood and that is associated with Hallowe'en.

Powerful ladies from modern literature

This is a picture that I have made of the six strong female characters that I have read about and loved. These six characters will hopefully be around to inspire young women for a very long time.

Here are the handouts that I have made for my presentation on illustrators. All of these book covers have been designed by the illustrators that I have covered in my presentation. 

Colour spotting Adele

These are screen shots of me colour spotting Adele. What I did was I turned the image black and white, duplicated it and cut out the dress of the layer underneath the duplicate, I then filled the area with yellow via the paint bucket tool. I then used the multiply blending option.

This is the start of the process of turning Adele into an Oscar. 

X L Recordings poster two

I reversed everything in this poster except I used a different font and the Adele Oscar is the same.  I think the first poster that I made is easier on the eyes.

What I have done here is merge adele with an Oscar statuette. I used the polygonal lasso tool to create the red carpet and the paint bucket to colour the carpet red. I also turned the X L Recordings logo red with the paint bucket to make that it matched the rest of the poster and also to make it stand out.

Here are the screen shots for the first collage of Adele at the Oscars that I made in Photoshop. I used different blending options for each of the images. I also used I also used the Hue/Saturation tool to change the images to black and white.
